We are a lodge of Freemasons, composed of men of good moral character with a desire to improve themselves and help others. Freemasonry is a system of morality, teaching its lessons through “degrees” which are hundreds of years old.

The same degrees taken by George Washington, Samuel Clemens, Harry Truman, and millions of others are the same performed to this day.

The Freemasons of our Lodge, through our ancestor Lodges, have been a fixture in the St. Louis, Missouri, metro area since 1840, and many of St. Louis’ prominent citizens have graced our Lodge over the years.

Masonry is about good men, regardless of personal ambitions, who gather together to strengthen our communities and our families through the symbolic use of the tools of our ancient Brethren.

We invite you to stop by on the first or third Tuesday of any month and visit. We will be happy to invite you to sit down with us for dinner and answer any of your questions.

And Masonry is more than just our Lodge members; it involves our families as well.

Gateway Lodge helps to promote our Masonic Youth by supporting George L. Walters Chapter DeMolay (an organization for young men) and Bethel #4 Missouri Job’s Daughters (an organization for young women).

And not just Masonic Youth, as Florissant Chapter #161 Eastern Star Chapter is here as well.
